leBLEU in the US
13th June 2001

It was never going to be like The Beatles arriving in America, but leBLEU are slowly winning over the States. Spin College Radio are playing tracks from the album at 325 colleges throughout the US and Losing Today have just printed a fantastic review. On top of this Phillip L. Holmes now lives in New York and hopes to fan the flames of US interest.

Pre-release copies now available
12th January 2001

The debut leBLEU album is now available to fans direct from the band. The 11 track CD contains the single 'Toujours Là' and the acclaimed 'La Vie est comme un Fleuve'.

The other tracks include 5 songs, the instrumental 'La Rêve des Lunes' and 3 other vocal-instrumentals. You can listen to extracts of all the tracks in lesSOUND CLIPS.

The album will be in all good independent record shops from February 5th. To order it through a shop, the catalogue number is EGG25 and the distributor is Cargo.

Radio 1 plug for Toujours Là
15th August 2000

Phillip gets a leBLEU mention on Radio 1 by Emma B (sitting in for Jo Whiley). Toujours Là was suggested for tomorrow as a link from Something for the Weekend by Divine Comedy. Emma B read out "The organ solo in 'something for the weekend' sounds just like my wife's alarm clock. As she is married to me and my single 'Toujours Là' by leBLEU is EGG15 on Pickled Egg records why not play this tomorrow" from Phillip's email.



Single pulled for Album
12th July 2000

Nigel the boss at Pickled Egg records loves the leBLEU album so much that the second leBLEU single has been pulled so that the album can be released instead. The 11 track album includes both songs from the first single plus 5 new songs, 2 instrumentals plus intro and outro tracks. Once the album has been mastered sound clips of all tracks will be posted in the lesSOUND CLIPS.
